Tevez or Villa? Who would you chose at Liverpool?

Posted by

There has been rife speculation about the future of both players this summer, with Tevez already leaving Man Utd, Villa’s future seems well away from the Mestalla. Both have been linked with the Reds, both might come. Although now it seems impossible for both, but there is still some whispers in the air.

Would you like Tevez at Anfield?
Positives: Tevez is still 25, he now left Man utd, and having him in a Liverpool shirt playing against Manure at the old toilet would be welcomed by a host of LFC fans. He gives his all when he’s playing, and might be seeking revenge from the scum.

Negatives: A negative thing about this is the same exact fact that he was a Man Utd player, he might not have the intensity since he still has a place for them in his heart.

Would you like Villa at Anfield?
Positives: Villa and Torres are clearly friends, and we can use our no.9 to persuade him, but it still looks as a distant possibilty due to the financial powers of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Negatives: No exact negative other than he is 27 and might spend just a couple of seasons here before going back to his country.

PS: This is just a debate, NO offers have been made for any player. Tevez looks on his way to Man City and Villa is set to stay in Spain, but you never know.

My Choice: Carlos Tevez; only one reason: rubbing it up Utd fans, he is also younger than Villa.

  1. Another negative for Tevez in my opinion is the fact that we aready have a player just like him. This might get him some bench time if he comes over and we all know that’s why he leaves Manure. He wants regular starting 11.

  2. Villa he know’s some of the players so that would hep him fit in quicker and is not a x man u player but would be just as happy to see Tevez come

  3. Villa, no question. i think he’s better than Tevez (not to mention better looking :P) have you seen him play for spain…he’s magnificent! and Tevez has already said he won’t come to liverpool because of the rivalry between the mancs. he wants to keep his fans, don’t know why…he comes here and we’ll all be behind him esp. (like you said) at OT!

  4. Villa without question. He’s a lethal striker. There’s a reason he’s wanted by Real, Barca, ManU, and Chelsea and also a reason you don’t hear them linked with Tevez. I’d love to to see Villa playing with Torres and Gerrard.

  5. Villa all the way. Tevez is overated and not worth anything over 15mil. Villa scores more goals and already has a relationship with Torres. Either way would they play instead of Gerrard. Gerrard has found his best position and he should be first on the team sheet in that position every game.

  6. I’d like Villa to come, he’s a much better player and already knows half our squad from the national team.
Unfortunately, he must be played as a striker, so this would change the current 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2. This is a good formation, a more offensive one, but it only holds 2 central midfielders.
So either Stevie goes right mid (a waste) or Xabi/Masc move to the bench. And I don’t think the Argentina Captain would accept that.

    P.S.
Tevez going to City would hurt ManU more IMO.

  7. Villa and Torres would tear up the pitch with Gerrard in there setting them up. Tevez is good but Villa has flair and a scorching shot. Villa probably wont come-afraid of being in Torres’ shadow… Valencia from Wigan would be great I reckon!
or get eto maybe? we need one class attacker and were set!

  8. tevez not a chance to city now in my opinion as crazy citech have signed etoo for 30 million.but you never know arabs.villa would be great here and the fact that we have already a player similar to tevez.. FOR ME SILVA

  9. Also as tevez wants to be loyal to the scums who didnt consider him a top most player .let him wander streets of manchester.we dont need him.better if we have silva and give babel enough time to settle and play in his favoured position ..that sums up IMO

  10. David Villa without any hesitation… With Torres we’ll have the best strikers in the world =D

  11. Viiiilllllla. He is the man and the Game. When you look at soccer today there are few players who really have the game at the back of there heads. The likes of Gerrad, Kaka, Torres, David Villa, iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Eto.
