Well the news of Alonso’s departure seems to be all over the place and this time it looks like it is for real.
While many L.F.C. fans have already started attacking Xabi and accusing him of moving for money I want to show my full support to him and thank him for 5 wonderful years. We will miss him dearly however it is understandable that he would want to return to his country and I am sure his new wife does too.
It is not easy living away from your home country and after 5 years Xabi probably wants to go back.

yeah..let him go and make Mascherano stay. the fact is no one is bigger than the club itself. We still can get more glories without him.
I total agree with your comments above. I think the turning point was the only mistake Rafa made last year (G Barry). Xabi must of felt he has been stabbed in the back (which he was)and i could’nt play for a manager i didnt trust. Lets get top dollar for him and pat him on the back.

I don´t want Xabi to go and if there is still a chance of him staying we must hold out that hope. He is a great player.
If he goes we should also let him go. Remember he was one of the few who were in Istandbul and are still playing and his consistancey has helped to make the team a much better side than when he arrived. He has always been loyal. 5 years is a long time in football these days. I also hope we get the money from Real Rafa is asking for then we won´t get any stupid comments about Xabi wanting to leave.
I hope Xabi will do a complete U-turn like what Stevie G did couple of seasons back when he almost signed for Chelsea, but if he leaves, I must say that he was one of Rafa’s best signings and he was an excellent player for us
It’s not the money nor the country he lives in it is because of what Rafa did to him and i think now it is hard to find a replacement because neither Cambiasso or Aquilani will leave and Barry joined Man City.
