There has been a lot of hate email, blog comments and anti-Liverpool and anti-scouse hatred going across the internet over the last 18 hours.
From 28th August, 2007 before the Liverpool vs Toulouse game Liverpool F.C. played the Z Cars anthem (which is Everton’s Anthem) before the game in honour of a young Everton supporter (Rhys Jones) who was murdered. The musical tribute was followed by a period of applause and the Liverpool players and staff, Toulouse players and match day officials wore black armbands during the game.
