I am sure that you are all shocked and saddened about the stabbing of West Ham’s Calum Davenport and his mother. Colum was stabbed several times in the leg while his mother was attacked as well at their home in Kempston, near Bedford.
As of this morning his mother was recovering however Colum is still serious and he might not play football again as their is a chance that one of his legs might be amputated.
The police have arrested two suspects in the case and will probably be charged with attempted murder. I do wonder if murder was the motive in this case, it is obvious that they yobs knew that Colum was a football player. Why would they stab him in the legs? They obviously wanted to ruin his career which really makes me sick to my stomach.
Why such hate?

Relatives have confirmed that he is 99% sure he won’t be playing football anymore. This really is sickening.
