Less than 31 hrs until kick-off. Win, lose or draw we cannot let tomorrow’s result mean anything more than it does. If we win or draw, fine we have stopped our bad run of form that has seen us lose 4 on the bounce. But if we lose, it means nothing more than a continuation of our bad luck and poor form. It should not heap further pressure on Rafa’s shoulders. He is the man that will bring the elusive 19th title to Anfield even if it is not this season.
H&G will be at the game tomorrow. After the planned SOS march before the game, the Yanks would love nothing more than to hear booes directed at Rafa or his team ring out around Anfield at any point during the game. Everyone at the game tomorrow should direct all their anger towards the American owners of “one of the greatest sports FRANCHISES in the World” I have said it before but I think its worth repeating, We are not a franchise, we are LIVERPOOL.
Should the unthinkable happen tomorrow, I urge all fans to sing our anthem louder and with more pride than ever before. It is at moments in adversity such as this that we have made our reputation. Unlike other clubs, we support players, manager, and staff at all times. Make tomorrow a day of colour and noise. Anfield needs to be a cauldron. Rafa and his players need our support more than ever now. COME ON LIVERPOOL!
