Looks like Ryan Babel might have given up on Twitter and this time it might be for good.
Ryan, who was the only Liverpool player tweeting used to originally tweet with the handle @RyanBabel09, however after receiving a bunch of harassing messages he decided to change his handle to @Protunez and later changed it to @Official_Babel. He protected his updated and was very picky on who he allowed to follow.
Most of his tweets did not talk much about L.F.C. but rather about his music career, unfortunately this is not what his followers wanted and it did frustrate them a lot when they saw him following all these rap Twitters and no L.F.C. related ones. He also consistently kept quoting Rev Run and talking about haters. I must say though that in the last week he did help out with the #dontbuythesun Twitter campaign and encouraged followers not to buy the S*n newspaper.
Now today he has disappeared and looking at the messages he received, most were encouraging and asking him on how his foot was with the exception of one.
I really do not think that he would quit Twitter just because of one comment.
