When I started EOTK I never dreamed  that I would have to endure this kind of bad spell, I have been a Liverpool supporter for 30 years and only Hillsborough & Hysel would top this as the biggest down moment for the club.

I was so gutted yesterday that I was tempted to shut down the site, turn off the internet and go into a long hibernation. However then I remembered the 96 who lost their lives for our club and many moments of glory this club has given us. To top it all off I woke up this morning to find our Twitter page flooded with Support coming from every corner of the globe. We face a very critical time in the history of our club and it is important for us to stay united together and NEVER NEVER WALK ALONE.

We have a new writer on EOTK, big welcome to my Maltese compatriot (I have dual citizenship) Tonio Bone.  His first post unfortunately has to be the match report here..
(Tonio was instrumental in setting up the Supporters Club in Malta but that story is for another day)

Rafa “Masch dismisal costly” more…
(Agree, he is out for four games now)

Rafa sarcastically called Lee Mason “Perfect” more…
(Rafa, although he did give some calls not in our favour we have to admit that we were bad yesterday)

As to those who wonder about life after Rafa, I urge you to read this…
(We are really caught in a very bad position)

Tom Hicks has finally said an intelligent thing more…
(He told Jurgen Klinsmann that he will never manage Liverpool)

In case you missed it but Hughes got fired as Man City manager over night more…
(And they have appointed the former Inter manager Mancini who won the title for Inter after Juve and Milan were penalised for match-fixing)

And the vultures are out to try to take Torres more…
(Even Chelsea is rumoured to be linked with Torres. Do not believe the hype, they are just trying to pile more misery on us)

Rafa praises N’gog’s progress more…
(The kid is the perfect stand in for Torres)

For those wondering what happened to Aquilani yesterday more…
(Well hopefully it is not serious and he will return for our game against Wolves)

However that does not stop former blue nose Gary Lineker from calling the Aquilani signing the worst signing of 2009 more…

(What the hell? The kid has not even had a chance to prove himself)

Tommy Smith urges the Reds to look at the Championship for potential signings more…
(True, unfortunately we have to bargin hunt however some of those Championship players are hungry, very very hungry)

And the media takes no time at all to link us to a Championship star
(His name is Victor Moses and he plays for Crystal Palace)

Cally, Carra can break my record more…
(I have to disagree with you Cally, Carra would have to play until he is 40 to do that. I can not see that happening in modern football)

And finally Rafael Van der Vaart rules out a January switch more…

(I guess he is happy sitting on the warm Madrid bench)

  1. 4 wins in 17 matches!!! If Benitez was managing a Serie C side in Italy he’s be gone a long time ago but not at Liverpool. The owners seems to enjoy the self-inflicting wounds. What joke this once glorious club has become. Long live Rafa…long live Statler and Waldorf!!! I’m looking forward to mid-table mediocrity. It’s refreshing change.
