I had a dream

Posted by

Tonight I had this dream. It was kind of nice but also weird … I think, it showes that a real fan does not stop to worry about his team even in his sleep.

However, ok, here it is.

Well, I was at Stevie’s. I’ve won a “Match Day with Stevie” what means, that I was invited to his house were’re about to watch football on the TV. Just like two “normal” fans. Sounds like every kopites dream, and it really felt like that. Why there aren’t competitions with prizes like that? :)  Well, Stevie was a good host and he showed me his house and even his “room of fame” where all of his greatest club memories were stored. The weird thing was: there was only one football shirt hanging on the wall framed into an simple picture frame. It was the Istanbul shirt. The other frames were empty. “Where are the other ones, Stevie?” – I asked. “Well, you know that the team is in a big trouble now so I thought, if I would sell my signed shirts I would help Rafa … I hope I can help this way … I only left the Istanbul shirt, it’s one of a kind, to precious to sell or give it away.” I was speechless. “Wow”, I thought, “what a captain Stevie is.” Who wouldn’t be impressed?

Then Carra came in, and El Nino and Pepe and Sami and Xabi … Xabi? I forgot the further questions because of him. I didn’t know, why Xabi isn’t sitting in Madrid and I allready was about to ask him, why he really left the team? … But then I woke up.

I’m thinking about it now: could it really be possible, that a football player is selling his memorials to help the team? Well, it must have be a rich buyer … I don’t know if Stevie would do something like that, but I think, the best way he can help the team is to give 100% on the pitch. I don’t doubt in his spirit, but the last time he isn’t his self.

I know that my dream was kind off quite stupid, but I think that the only meaning of it was, like I already mentioned, that a true fan does worry about his team even while he’s sleeping. :)
