I have a feeling someone will come up with a list of 30 reasons why they want Rafa to leave, but that surely will not be me! However Antoine, as much as you adore the guy, you’ve only listed one side of the story. I feel it would be nice to have a list of 30 things gone-bad to compare and ultimately decide our opinion on what he has achieved.

am sorry antoine but everything you sed r good reasons but that was in the past.I live in merseyside and rafa has lost the changing room on wednesday night was a real example of that no players were trying and the rumour on merseyside and i do mean rumour that stevie g is not injured but suspened by the club for hit pellegrino in the changing room in a bust up about players not trying.I know it could be the blue shite trying to stare things up but stevie never look injured to me and never signalled to the bench as he came off at half time and i know this because i was sitting by the tunnel as they came off.The other thing thats pissed me off his that torres came off because of his hernia and not for his knee he did have a slight strain but the reports that i have heard he has had an op on his hernia and if that is the case why didnt he have in november when he was out 4 weeks instead of now which probaly will cost us 4th place because we have nothing up front and yesterday when we played stoke if we go 1 nil up rafa comes out to the players and sed tighting things up dont commit players forward and if you watch the match like i think you did you will see we stopped playing and thats why stoke got back in it.Ijust wish fans can stop thinking about the owners for 5 minutes and take a look at the bigger picture that there r only 8 players who deserve to were the top and the rest dont.i know what rafa has done in the past is fantastic but its in the past i will always hold rafa in high regards but a change is needed now and it will hurt some fans but we will move on we will become stronger and we will bring pride back in my eyes the best club in the world i just hope people see sense before its to late YNWA

I disagree with some of your points, esp Gerrad, I think he developed under Gerrard Houillier into the player he is today and not Rafa. Most of the other points are correct but that doesnt mean we have a good squad at the moment, we have a poor squad, and you don’t need a lot of money to build a good squad. A good manager should be able to spot young players and bring them up through the academy. Apart from Darby in defence is there any young talent coming through the ranks at the moment? Will benitez give them a chance even if there was? In the past we’ve had people like fowler, owen who would come in and change things. Aresenal, united and Chelsea all have youngsters who can come into a game and change a game. I’m sure there’s plenty of young lads in the championchip who are much better than ngog! He might as well have been playing for Stoke yesterday. A lot of people are saying give rafa money but rafa has been given millions to spend, and even if he will be given more he’ll always bring in the wrog players and then sell them for half the price
Unless Rafa has lost the dressing room, if not sacking him will not help in our bid to get back into top 4.

And it seems he lose his touch at the thing. As far I can see, or our owners give him the cash to spent or Rafa will need to be spectacular and shut up our mouths winning the Europa and finishing in the top four. i’m not sure about that, most liverpool supporters i know who are criticising Rafa now have always criticised him, even when were winning. Especially in terms of his rotation policy, his defensive strategies, his bad purchases and his inability to ever admit he makes mistakes. I dont think he should be sacked right now and he should be given until the end of the season to possibly turn things round, but i think he’s taken the club as far as he can and might not be the best man for the future. I don’t believe and blind faith and I certainly don’t believe we should stop criticising people because the club will never move forward without constructive criticism
I believed Rafa should have chances until the end of the season and look at the transfers for the next season ….
