Happy Monday everybody,  Christmas is only 11 months away :-)

One quick word on the Shortys, not sure what is going on but they seem to not be counting all the votes. If you have already voted, do not vote again instead invite your friends to vote

Tom Hicks sold The Texas Rangers for $500 million more…
(Yeah but we are not going to see a penny of it)

And the People reported yesterday that Man City are preparing a £100 million bid for Torres more…
(Don’t believe this crap, it was Sunday remember they always publish a Torres or Stevie is leaving on Sundays)

And the same rag is linking Babel with Arsenal more…
(Babel is too old for Wenger, it will not happen)

Israeli press is reporting that Dynamo Moscow is making an 8 million Euro bid for Yossi more…
(Well the Daily Mail made the story their own but it was originally reported in the Israeli press. Sounds very low to me, it will not happen)

Chamakh & Jovanovich are back in the spotlight more…
(Chamakh will not happen in the next week but Jovanovich is a possibility so I am raising him)

Everton joins race for Huntelaar more…
(This is good news, when ever they enter a race for a player we are after we always end up signing that player :-) )

Sami Hyypia backs Rafa more…
(Sami you are legend, always have a place in our heart)

Rafa admits that Aquilani needs time more…
(Rafa is right, I can sense though he is starting to finally settle in)

And finally Kuyt talks about his family is now Scouse more…
(Dirk you are a Working Class Hero)

  1. “Liverpool are close to signing Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic at the end of the season.–Daily Post”
This is what liverpoolfc.tv (official site of Liverpool fc)..So Mr. Antoine we can forget Jovanovic till the World Cup at least..
but i would personally prefer your No.1 Priority (possibility wise as you put it)..make our SQUAD..He is younger and more MENACING..& the Serbian Star hasn’t been as highly rated ever.. Moreover if we make the Chamakh deal We would have too many strikers like the Spurs..frustration will creep in then..and Pacheco’s promising displays may go in favor of some other club..

  2. Whats taking SO LONG FOR RAFA TO SWAP BABEL WITH HUNTER..(i know its tough..i say this out of frustration )..JUST FEEL THAT SUCH A THING WOULD HAVE MULTIPLIED OUR CHANCES AGAINST EVERTON, ARSENAL & MAN CIty coming up soon..and certainly our top 4 securing chances..(although even if we don’t get HUNTER..HOPE that Liverpool fc still keep playing better..We are always a great “COME-BACK” Team..)

  3. I can’t see Huntelaar really wanting to join us if his ultimate aim is staying sharp and in contention for a world cup place. Rafa likes his formation and that includes one striking spot which will be Torres the instant he’s fit.

Everton would be a solid bet because he’s practically guaranteed to be the top pick in the lineup.

  4. May be Brad but i think RAFA is thinking to change that formation by a wee bit..otherwise he wouldnot be running after Chamakh so badly..moreover he tried the 4-4-2 with robbie keane in the team last year..but it didn’t work out so he may still give it a try..and LAST but not LEAST, if hunter comes to our team(and there is a BIGG “IF” )..and plays the games against everton, man city and arsenal well enough..He SURE will make the Starting line up till the end of the SEASON..no matter what..we may become a 4-3-1-2 or anything but he will play..

  5. Too bad if we don’t get ARDA TURAN in the summer even..Will be a Big Miss..as of this week will be a surprise to see any player coming in..HOPE ITS A PLEASANT SURPRISE though..

    Klaas-Jan Huntelaar
EVERTON are in the hunt for Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

But the Blues may face competition for the frustrated Milan forward from Tottenham and West Ham.

Everton manager David Moyes confirmed on Saturday that he would jump at the chance of bringing the 24-year-old to Goodison on-loan.

And that fits perfectly with Huntelaar’s desire to get more match practice under his belt in order to make Holland’s World Cup squad this summer.

“I don’t talk about players at other clubs, but if Huntelaar was available I would be interested, certainly,” said Moyes.

ARE WE NOT EVEN IN THE RACE TO GET HIM..WELL SEEMS MILAN HAS REJECTED OUR SWAP OFFER..!!!SAD NEWS THAT!! hUNTER WOULD BE EXCITING!!!..BUT WE’LL MANAGE SOMEHOW I’M SURE..
