A testing month ahead!

Posted by

February will prove to be a make or break month for the Reds with a succession of important fixtures that may ultimately have an effect on a season which if one calls underachieved would sound like an under statement.

While in a matter of a few weeks, the Reds came from 8 points away from 4th place to 1 single point, one has to keep in mind that Man City are level with us on points with 2 games in hand while Villa are 1 point behind us with one game in hand. Make no mistake; the Reds will loose points in this run-up, but so will the other contenders.

February packs in 6 fixtures for the Reds. Everton (H), Arsenal (A), Unirea Urziceni (H), Man City (A), Unirea Urziceni (A), and Blackburn (H). Three home and three away games packed in the space of 22 days!

Now, dwelling deep into my emotions rather than making a game per game analysis, this is my prediction for these fixtures (please don’t place any bets!):

Liverpool vs. Everton 2-1
Arsenal vs. Liverpool 1-1
Liverpool vs. Unirea Urziceni 2-0
Man City vs. Liverpool 2-2
Unirea Urziceni vs. Liverpool 1-1
Liverpool vs. Blackburn 2-1

So, what are you predictions for February?

  1. Gotta beat M.City my friend, thats the minimum hurdle we can put in their path..Good to see you being so optimistic we are already unbeaten in 6 games and should be unbeaten in 10 premier league games if you are right..HOpe you are right..but i would love to see the following(if Luck runs our way)
    Liverpool vs. Everton 2-1
    Arsenal vs. Liverpool 1-2
    Liverpool vs. Unirea Urziceni 2-0
    Man City vs. Liverpool 0-1
    Unirea Urziceni vs. Liverpool 1-1
    Liverpool vs. Blackburn 2-0

being a bit more realistic ..

    Liverpool vs. Everton 1-1
    Arsenal vs. Liverpool 1-1
    Liverpool vs. Unirea Urziceni 2-0
    Man City vs. Liverpool 1-1
    Unirea Urziceni vs. Liverpool 0-1
    Liverpool vs. Blackburn 2-0

I belive this should sum it up..but how i want the earlier forecast to be TRUE !!!!

  2. Liverpool vs. Everton 3-1
    Arsenal vs. Liverpool 2-1
    Liverpool vs. Unirea Urziceni 3-0
    Man City vs. Liverpool 0-1
    Unirea Urziceni vs. Liverpool 1-1
    Liverpool vs. Blackburn 2-0

  3. Liverpool vs. Everton 2-0
    Liverpool vs. Unirea Urziceni 2-0
    Man City vs. Liverpool 1-2
    Unirea Urziceni vs. Liverpool 1-2
    Liverpool vs. Blackburn 3-0

  4. I think Liverpool’s results for February will be as follows:

    Liverpool v Everton 2-1
    Arsenal v Liverpool 2-2
    Liverpool v Unirea Urziceni 2-0
    Man City v Liverpool 0-1
    Unirea Urziceni v Liverpool 0-1
    Liverpool v Blackburn 2-0

  5. liverpool will win everton 3/0 arsanal will loose but only 1/0 to the reds city wont play at there best we will drag them down to are level, then beat them 1/0 we will win the europer tin cup. we wont have rafa after tuesday so kenny the king will get all the prase

  6. Liverpool 2-1 Everton
    Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool
    Liverpool 0-0 Unirea Urziceni
    Man City 1-1 Liverpool
    Unirea Urziceni 1-1 Liverpool
    Liverpool 3-2 Blackburn

  7. Sorry Tommy, guess you will be proved wrong on Rafa!!! 3-0 against Everton is a bit optimistic given their recent impressive form…I’d be happy if we scrape a win against them.

  8. My predictions as of Feb.21st:

    Chelsea – 64pts
    United – 60pts
    Arsenal – 52pts
    City – 48pts
    Liverpool – 47pts
    Spurs – 46pts
    Villa – 46pts

it’s gonna be a dog-fight the rest of the way! 4 teams fighting their asses off for 1 spot…I just think Spurs are thin on defense and Villa aren’t as deep. I have a feeling it’s going to boil down to us & City.

    POSITIVE THINKING!!!!

  9. Well there you go for intepretations. It was not exactly the answer to the question made but there you go. Cory went deeper by even predicting the table standings! WoW!

  10. i just think predicting scores is somewhat pointless…i only predict wins losses or draws. No offense to anyone who enjoys predicting scores…I just suck at ITKS
