Those are the exact words of Andrea Dossena (remember him?) taken from an interview with the press. The rest of the interview goes on as Dossena talks about working hard and wanting to end his career with Napoli. What came up as the title of the interview was funny though, it says “Napoli Are More Passionate Than Liverpool” .
Which I find quite amusing, and well I can’t say I am all too surprised that Dossena’s words was twisted out of context. I mean, it’s only normal for any player to join a new club and be psyched and talk positively about it. I mean who would join a new club and slate its management style or let alone say anything negative about it.
This is yet another evidence on how the media “loves” our club.
Seriously, I think we’re getting ever more popular ever since Rafa took over back in 2004. It’s like the media puts a whole new light and all its concerted effort to blast us every single way possible. The only way is that us fans, we need to read more from the official sources or get our news from fan sites, like this one :D
I really hope that all Liverpool fans would stick together all throughout this difficult period and not be moved by rumours started by fans from the other side, we should all walk through this storm!!

somebody had a right moan at me the other day when i pulled him up after the bolton game when he said everton would beat us if we played like that. he called me bitter because i said no Liverpool Fan should ever say that or even give them any praise also pointed out to him that Shanks use too say that there are only two clubs in Liverpool IE Liverpool and Liverpool reserves, and If he wanted to know how everton were getting on he just looked down the table.
The idiot also said i could be from Liverpool to say such a thing – put him in his place born and bred liverpool have lived here all my life (57 years) and have been going to the match since 1962 – strange have not heard from him since.

i love liverpool fc. why all the negativity? just support them if you support them.if we think we are going to get beat all the friging time its not enjoyable, we always play at our best when aganst the wall. but we are a much better team than everton dont fall for the hype, thats what all the other teams in the prem hope we all fall for it so we have dought, dont let them win the mind games we will win arsanal and city and 4th place possible 3rd so come on you reds………….
Ahmed, welcome! One thing to get straigh about Napoli. When this team was thrown into what is equivalent of League One in England, they had 50,000/60,000 spectators at each home game. That’s italian third level football. Andrea did not mean to be disrespective, of this I am sure, it’s the media that swist and turn words to create hype and sensation.
Having said that, if there is anything that any Premier League and perhaps even european top team envy Liverpool for is it’s support. That’a a fact which even the media hate campaign can’t do nothing about. We won’t go broke, we won’t sell and lease back Melwood like Man U did with Carrington, and Rafa will not leave. So please give up!
