  1. Agreed, can take a lot of positives from the game & hopefully rafa realises that he missed a trick with his sub(s) babel should have been on much earlier, maybe due a start now too

  2. Thats why folks, thats why I was always of the opinion that Ngog is being tried just too much for anybody’s good, the lad has potential and should have been really loaned off somewhere before playing him so regularly in the starting XI..

Thats why i kept saying ..Go for Babel RAFA..from the start…but i guess I was too far for him to hear…
Look at the trend..NANI and bentley were all tried with good effect..NANI may have been red carded today but he at least got chances to perform..which he deserved ..so did Bentley..
i speak if these 2 ..because they also had altercations and a lot of tuf times with the manager..like Babel..but RAFA has got it wrong…

It is not that I am telling this after a defeat… i told it all the time..We don’t have a player to bring us back in the match if we concede with sheer skill playing forward..and inexperience will make us pay..
Might seem inconsequential to to you. Mr.Bone and yes we can still beat man city and some others and get the no.4 spot..but this defeat ensures that we have to do it the HARD way..

Now lets hope Stoke beats Man City or else..we will be in for an even tougher fight for top 4..

  3. Just couldn’t see a match winner in NGOG just as yet..
but i know most of you have a soft-corner for him and will say he is only 20 and all those stuff..WEll, this is the game for the men and no one will care one bit about whether the player is 15 or 35..when they come on the pitch they are competitors..this no place for considerations on age or anthing..
and especially when it is for a club as MASSIVE as Liverpool Fc..

    Enough over spilt milk..
Hope RAFA does do something in the next game…His defensive ploys are praise worthy, and has been almost phenomenal in the last few games..but hope he tries the same with attack..starting next match..YNWA!!

  4. Watched the game in a pub. Heard the usual shite from knee-jerkers.
“Lucas is useless”, “Ngog doesn’t deserve to play in the reserves” “What the hell was Maxi doin on the pitch?” “Rafa’s lost the plot” “Defence is a shambles” “Kuyt was terrible today” “Insua should’nt be on the pitch”

We go unbeaten for six games, and “Lucas has improved a lot”. As soon as we lose, he’s the reason. As with Insua, Ngog. Maxi was another, when I actually thought he did well. Couple of shots. At least he’s gettin in the areas to take shots.

Ngog is a young player, and a promising talent for the future. All of a sudden, Babel is our saviour because Ngog isn’t the real deal. Babel shows glimpses of his talent. He needs to be more consistent. If we play him for 90mins, will he show his talents? I would prefer that Babel came on as a sub for half hour. Make him earn his place. Bring him on consistently. (And no, I’m not a great fan of his. But he has potential).

OH! And guess what? England now have very few referees who can referee a game. Webb goin to the WC? Probably can’t see South Africa on a map.

By the way, I heard Carra only has a abducter injury. Haven’t got a clue what it is but he’s only meant to be out for a few days.

  5. Today became clear that liverpool doesn’t have a team to fight in the top.
And these are the kind of matches where we see who has the experience, maturity, skill, determination, and courage to play against big teams.
Skrtel, Lucas, Ngog and Degen, are definitely B team players.
But that’s all we got right now and they tried their best.
    Y.N.W.A

  6. The word in Italy is that both Juventus and AC Milan set their sights on Benitez for next season after they saw the Liverpool line up against Stoke City recently. It was perfectly suited for Serie A
