LiverSAM – Weekly LFC Review by Sam

Welcome to  the new weekly LiverSAM.

Birmingham hold liverpool!

Liverpool FC have dropped more
points, only being able to get a draw with Birmingham. Liverpool struck first,
Steven Gerrard hitting the net just after the
break. Birmingham kept pushing
towards goal, and finally Ridgewell got their equaliser. Torres was taken off
after 65 minutes. He shook his head, Gerrard looked very confused. Rafa
Benitez’s excuse was he was ‘exhausted’. The game finished 1-1 with N’gog
missing a great chance to fire Liverpool back ahead. The final Champions League
spot is now looking more ‘impossible’ to reach.

Up next: benfica

Next up for Liverpool is Benfica at Anfield on Thursday!
They need to win by at least 1 goal if they have any chance of going through.
It’s Liverpool’s last chance to gain silverware this season, so they’ll want to
win. None of our ‘big’ players are injured, although Aurelio is doubtful to
start. Maybe Auqalani will start for once, instead of someone like Kuyt. The
only chance the match will go to extra time, and then penalties, is if Liverpool
win 2-1. If the game ends 1-0 to Liverpool then Liverpool go through on away
goals.

  1. i know he cares, but, not as other managers. He’s never sad, always thinks he knows what he’s doing. Which is why I think it’s time for a new manager.
