I think the reason rafa played Yossi to get him match practice for benifica game. he has been out for a while. but i have to agree rafa has made some strange dessicon recently some are unexplainable.
the issue with lucas and masch is tottaly true. both defensive midfielders. aquilani was the replacement but he hasnt been fit enough. in my opinion we shouldnt ve paid 18M for aquilani. i was so impressed by the performence agasint pompeys only few days after to find out hes having a bug…… maybe the bad luck this season.
even if we dont make it top four this season ( i have a feeling we still mite) we will rise next season.

Quit digging maxi man, he was one of the only decent players in the first half, and then was unlucky hit the bar.
Plus he would have scored had aqualani, bloodey ducked out the way.
But i agree that bable should have been playing, however instaed of kuyt in my opinion, as he is most probably going to start playing on thursday and we need him to put a shift in.
Lets just win a trophy this season restoring some morale and focus on the league next season. which is what we should be doing every season

Let’s rewind 6 months all these fickle fans were calling for Babel to be shipped off in a simular manner to Riera is being now, but mow you want him to start every game, why cause he keeps the ball for 1 touch to much every time, always wants the super goal. Have you ever considered that Rafa didn’t start because of what happened at Benfica? Torres made no impact in a whole hour and five mins for that game, so Rafa took him off, and hang on we started creating chances, did Torres not miss a clear cut chance at Benfica and a couple of ‘sitters’ at Sunderland? No players perfect but Rafa took a chance and it nearly paid off!
Rafa can’t win he plays Gerrard in CM where everyone wants him to play and he’s critisised for play 4 4 2 but play him in the hole and he’s being played out of position.
Once again back to Lucas, he’s the scape goat for all these fickle fans, if he and Monster didn’t play certain games together we would have stopped Everton again this year, wouldn’t have beaten united at anfield, (so when all you horrid turds about scum don’t forget that) yes he might not be as good as Masch, but then Masch didn’t want to play at the start of the season he was planning his new villa in Barcelona! At least Lucas wanted to play.
Weve had problem all this season, players not meeting potential, injuries, poor form, bad luck, but we still support the team. From your video I don’t understand why you do!!! All you’ve done is slag off the players that have worked there arses off to keep us going!
