Petition to remove Premier League Chief Executive RICHARD SCUDAMORE

Posted by

I received this message from Graham Agg (Liverpool Supporters Trip to Mönchengladbach Organizer) today. I allready signed the petition. Do the same if you agree here.

After the latest inept utterances from Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore, please read them below. Please sign the petition to remove him as Premier League Chief executive at the bottom of this page, please forward on to all of your members, friends & family, thank you.

BELOW ARE QUOTES FROM PREMIER LEAGUE CHIEF EXECUTIVE RICHARD SCUDAMORE, PLEASE READ WITH INTEREST:-

QUOTE“I don’t fear for Manchester United as a club,” Scudamore says. “From a football point of view, Manchester United have continued to deliver huge success since the Glazers came in. I understand the pain of the green-and-gold brigade — I hear it, I read it — but I don’t feel it. Manchester United is absolutely one of the best-run clubs in the world. If you take a step back from the emotiveness of it, it’s a fantastic job they [the Glazers] have done”.UNQUOTE

QUOTE “And I don’t fear for Liverpool. That’s different from saying I think they’re going to win the Premier League tomorrow, but they remain a hugely attractive, hugely valuable club with an enormous worldwide fanbase. They can sustain what’s going on, though plans are afoot, with Martin Broughton coming in as chairman to resolve a few issues.” UNQUOTE

  1. Where’s the outrage? We’re not gonna win the Prem tomorrow, and really he’s not saying anything out of bounds here. “Liverpool is an elite club going through a bad spell” is a direct translation of those words. Who cares what he says about the Mancs? He didn’t say anything false about our club.

At least he didn’t call us Weetabix.

  2. I agree with mcsey. He’s neither said nor done nothing wrong. Getting a bit out of hand now, this. We can’t go trying to force unemployment on people who simply disagree with us.

  3. I take it this is not being backed by SOS as they have a meeting with Scudamore lined up!

  4. I don’t like Scudamore. He is more concerned with the promotion of the brand at the expense of the game. I don’t like the way he promotes Mansour/Abramovic style spending despite the financial trouble it forces clubs who try to compete into, not to mention the inflation it causes within footballs economic bubble. I think the way he allows sky to dictate the game rather than the other way around dispicable, such as the way games are scheduled ahead of european ties (contrast to Serie A who will move games to suit the clubs). Scudamore is not stupid though, he knows collective TV deals are not as beneficial to the biggest clubs as individual rights deals, which is why the Premiership is so much more competitive than La Liga. But he knows that the success of the premier league is built on debt and sadly it will take the collapse of a much bigger club than Pompy to change his mind. Scudamore is good for the brand, bad for the game, decide which is more important to you.

  5. ill need much more than this here to put my name to it,
based on this ermmm ‘brief’ i wont go anywhere near it!
what nxt a campagin against Prince William!?

  6. Whether you like or not the man is only telling the truth for gods sake, I despair of these supporters who have turned into shrinking violets who have a nervous breakdown every time someone tells the truth about the current state of our club, get your head out of the sand and from up your own ass, he hasnt insulted us, just said it as it is. Get a grip

  7. Scudamore was the main one backing the 39th premiership game to be played in the ‘Far East’.(He is obviously being promised a giant back-hander for that.) If that is what local supporters want – then keep plugging for him.I personally would prefer him being kicked out!!!
