Graeme Souness claims that it would cost £1 billion to fix Rafa’s “mess” more…
(Oh! I am shocked, as much as he put his foot in the mouth before if this is true he has exceeded himself. Hello there, do you know that we have two owners called Hicks & Gillett who created the mess?)

Kenny Dalglish might be heading to South Africa to meet with the Liverpool players more…
(Is Kenny going to take the position?)

  1. Antoine, I think the main purpsose for the King in coming down here is for a round of golf at Sun City. As he is a keen golfer, he is often out here and if you have ever seen the Million Dollar Golf Challenge at Sun City, you will know that it is a great course. Oh, and its just down the road from the England base camp!

  2. It´s Sunday folks! A good day to relax, share a lager with friends or read a book. Maybe not the best day to catch up on transfer rumors though…

  3. Mascherano might follow Rafa to Inter: ya well befor Rafa left all players where linked to Liverpool now all Liverpool players will be linked with Inter,

Kenny Dalglish might be heading to South Africa to meet with the Liverpool players: this would be a good thing to find out where they are at.

However Harry Redknapp’s name is mentioned: so i guess Crouch will be on his way back to Liverpool

Have any one on hear heard any thing about “Rafa sold to make way for new owners”

    ???

  4. News this morning is Rafa will be Inter manager “next week”.

    (source: Inter Milan)

  5. Antoine you’re unbelievably stubborn.
Rafa underachieved in the league every year but one.
He had plenty to spend but misused it and drove the club into mediocrity.

If hicks and gillett were not American, there would be far fewer protests. The blind love of rafa stems from a general prejudice of the country who bailed you out of ww2.

    1. Geoff as far as Rafa goes he has one of the best winning records of any manager in the worlds and that is a fact.

Now regards the comment about WW2 I really do not understand what you mean by it.

In WW2 my parents and grandparents were British subjects and I am now an American Citizen so I guess my family bailed myself out. I have relatives that live in your City too, there is a great bakery there called Basket Bakery which sells many Maltese baked goods.

Stupid idiotic remark by the way, You are a class A moron, don’t know what WW2 has to do with football.

  6. For fu*ks sake Geoff, what are you smoking?

Leave your bigoted history to other forums. This one is all about looking forward.

  7. I am no lover of him in the media but to be fair to Souness The Star has badly misquoted him.

According to the Star Souness said the following:
“Putting the club back on an even keel, securing the future and ensuring that they challenge for domestic and European honours on a regular basis is a job that could cost nearly a billion pounds.

“They need to spend at least £100million to buy players good enough to challenge for the Premier League next year and the Champions League the season after that.

“After that they need around £300m to clear the club’s debts and at least another £400m to build a new stadium.

The £1b Souness is talking about is not being aimed at Rafa, £700m is aimed at G&H, £100m on players (but we all know we need better players, as did Rafa…we just didn’t have the money) and the last £200m I suppose is just a ’rounding up’ figure.
