Be interesting to see how well Gerrard captains England. I think he was pretty poor in that role for LFC this season, in our most difficult season in his captaincy you didn’t see much of him trying to encourage or lift the team on the pitch, seemed the only voice you could ever hear shouting was Jamie’s!
It would be a tough call but the new manager imo should think about taking that burden off Gerrard should he stay, and perhaps hand the armband over to Reina.
