Red’s World Cup Daily Round Up 21/06/2010

Ganamos! That’s what the Spanish tabloids are saying after yesterday’s match which ended …

Spain – Honduras 2:0

Fernando Torres featured for 70 minutes of the Group H encounter as Vicente Del Bosque’s men secured the three points courtesy of goals in either half from David Villa.

Spain was clearly the dominating side throughout the game, but in the second half there were some mistakes which shouldn’t have been done. Spain should have scored more, considering who they were playing against, but we take the result! It’s better than nothing.

The result means La Roja remain in the mix to qualify for the last 16 and should progress to the knockout stage if they can clinch victory over leaders Chile on Friday.
