Video : Good Luck Albert

As expected Albert Riera today signed with Greek outfit Olympiakos, unfortunately his career at Liverpool had to end controversially. The guy has talent but football is a team-sport and requires players to support their managers and fellow team-mates.

  1. On a good day Albert Riera was an exciting and powerful player to watch, but I always thought he kept the ball one/two touches more than he ever needed to. Pity it had to end this way though. Good Luck Albert!

  2. You’re getting no luck from me son. Unprofessional selfish git. Destabilised the club, hit young Pacheco and wined about leaving.
    Off you go.

  3. Always thought he was an exciting player to watch and had a great touch. Shame things turned out this way as I think he could be a really exciting player. I disagree with the “football is a team-sport and requires players to support their managers and fellow team-mates” comment though. I think it was a situation that the management and manger let get out of control.

Love that goal against Villa though…

  4. This guy is an amazing player…..Another Rafa F..K up to diminish Riera’s confidence, as he did Benayouns and Babels….Way to go Rafa, you TOOK Houlliers team and win the Champions League, then what do you do….Diminish good players confidence….Thats worse than breaking their legs….What makes me happy about this season is not J. Cole or D Wilson or that Stevie is staying ….Its the fact that Roy is our new Commander…..!!!! I hope its a memorable season…..YNWA!!!! although i was ecstatic when I heard Stevie committed his career to LFC!!!! Your a Living Legend, Stevie
