Thanks for all the good wishes, I am back home so we are back to the usual format of this feature.

Crazy transfer day yesterday however the only signings we saw were the confirmations of Paul Konchesky & youngster Adam Hajdu, glad that we didn’t lose Babel in the process.

The big news is that Paul Konchesky has signed a 4 year contract more…
(No fee was disclosed)

Della Valle goes to Fulham together with more…
(Part of the Konchesky deal)

Ryan Babel almost landed in Spurs with Roman Pavlyuchenko, going to West Ham and Carlton Cole coming our way more…
(Glad it didn’t happen)

Ryan tells Roy that he can solve his striker dilemma more…
(I agree, love to see Torres & Babel up front)

Grant confirms that Liverpool wanted Cole more…
(I would have been happy to see a striker as a backup for Torres but Losing Ryan Babel wouldn’t have made sense)

Insua has joined Galatasary on loan more…
(Just as he started tweeting)

Nabil El Zhar has moved to PAOK on loan more…
(Good luck)

Damien Plessis has also moved to Greece, his new club is Panathinaikos more…
(We have lost too many players during this transfer window)

Alexander Hleb also revealed that Liverpool had made him an offer more…
(But instead goes from Barca to Brum!!!!)

Torres in the meantime demanded new owners more…
(We all do Nando)

Our first Fernando (Morientes) has retired from football more…
(Good luck)

As I said earlier Adam Hajdu has joined Liverpool more…

(Good at least we got a youngster in)

Houllier pays tribute to Carra more…

(We all dream of a team of Carraghers)

And finally Masch claims that there were lies told about his move more…
(Stop trying to cover for your lack of professionalism it doen’t take a brain surgeon to figure it out)

  1. Giving away Dalla Valle and Nemeth means that we’ve actually got even less striking options than we went into the transfer window with – madness
