  1. O’neill is the best we can get right now. Srsly guys, we pissed at Rafa when he got us 7th but now?

    sigh

  2. Roy just doesn’t have what it takes. Any Liverpool caliber coach should at least be mid table EVEN if the team still has a long way to go. Plus I just don’t think he’s picking the right players to bring to Liverpool. His player choices clearly indicate that Liverpool is no longer targeting the top of the Premier league. I’m quite confident the new owners will in fact let Roy go.

  3. look….Rafa has no blame in this as his only fault was treating Alonso badly and then selling him….so knock the rafa rubbish on the head….roy hodgson is woefully out of his depth here and its clear that the players do not like or cannot get used to playing his way……at this rate Torres will go in january and then we will be royally fucked as we wont be able to attract any top names to come to the club…..i really dont think the blame lies with the players… and just because we are Liverpool doesnt mean we cant get relegated either……and to all the manc scum fans laughing ..well your next 1 billion in debt and rising you will most def be next wether its this season or next so take note

  4. I agree with Paul Tomkins article about Hodgson, right man for the wrong job. Hodgson’s tactics are suited for a mid-level club that wants to keep its formation and be mediocre, but this is Liverpool. We attack! Press the opposition. Torres didn’t actually score that many goals for Athletico but under Benetiz tactics he flourished. I don’t ever see us flourishing under Hodgson. Give him time? Why should we give him time when he’s actually made the team worse?

  5. Roy not big enough to manage us( and I’m not one for calling the manager), shit manager and poor formation, Lucas should be dropped, he can only pass sideways,
Least if we go down we might win the league :-)

  6. Roy’s a nice guy but he has to go. Just as in previous game, today the players looked like they’ve never played together. Much has been expected of them this week. Especially when the fans have been put thru courtroom takeover hell. At this rate the fans have a better understanding of each other compared to the players. Better training techniques please.

  7. Roy should resign. He just dun know how to use players. Get Dalgish or Martin O’neil now before too late. Such a shameful Liverpool under Hodgson now! Corret the wrong now! One win in 8 games is unacceptable for LFC

  8. Roy doesnt seem to know what to do,he`s stands in the dugout rubbing his chin like it was a genies lamp,he makes substitutions to late in the game to make any real difference, how are the team supposed to get any confidence & direction when the manager looks like he`s the one who needs it himself. We need a manager who is big enough to get hold of this team by the scruff of the neck & inspire the confidence that is lacking!!!

  9. Roy no longer has the luxury to use the excuse that he needs time. He’s had about 15 games to get to know his players. We haven’t played well in a single premier league game and even struggled some of the ones we did win. He HAS TO go. He’s a mid-table manager and belongs at a mid-table team. We should be at the top and need to get a top manager. SOON. Or else…

  10. Pellegrini was keen on coming and we told him to fuck off. Well fuck me, I hope he’s still keen on coming.

  11. Rafa sadly had to go because the ownership issues had worn him down and he’d lost the dressing room as a result. Where we went wrong was bringing in a negative and cautious manager instead of someone to let the players off the leash again.

  12. It looks like LFC its to much for him! I don’t think he is giving his best! LFC at the botton of the EPL with the players that they have its unreal!

  13. Always be careful what you wish for. All I heard last season was for so called L,pool supporters wanting Raffa out!!! One of the best managers in europe as teams like barcelona, inter, real etc wanted him and would never be looking at Roy. What wonders Raffa done for us as having only spent 30million in 3 years, won and kept us in a champions league spot, bar last season, but an engine can’t run on air! For 1 second if Raffa was here today we wouldn’t be getting slaughtered and lying bottom of league, bar goal difference.
Raffa is a tactical genious, hard but I believe fair. A nice man, saying nice things that owners want to hear doesn’t win nice cups and places in champions leagues.

  14. But Roy seems oblivious.

“It is insulting to suggest that because you move to a new club, your methods suddenly don’t work when they’ve held you in good stead for 35 years and made you one of the most respected coaches in Europe. It’s unbelievable.”

  15. i’ve been saying it for a couple of weeks now,Roy is a nice man, but i think he is out of his depth at LFC. as much as we love Kenny i dont think he is the man for the job, definitely not on a permanent basis. funny feeling Jurgen Klinsman will be in the hotseat in a couple of weeks

  16. Bye bye Roy.
Re-crown the legend, King Kenny. About time you received a knighthood for all your work. Legend!!!

  17. Roy is an awful manager with outdated tactics,he is only interested in enriching his pocket with the money he is paid at our club no wonder he always has his hands deep in his pockets.Roy has brought down the standard of the club teams don’t respect us anymore teams attack us at will unlike before though Benitez has his ups and downs but I can assure you we wouldn’t be bottom table as we are now..The new owners should listen to d voice of the fans and act now..Roy is a mid table and rock bottom table team Manager not like Liverpool..I would recommend top class managers I.e Frank Rikaard,Guss Hiddink(he can manage both country and club together as long as we can convince him and pay him) Dalgish,Pellegrinni,Martin’ o Neil etc

  18. What a disaster!!! You just needed to hear Roy’s comments after the game to know that we are indeed alone in the deep. Henry is no loser. You could see the thoughtfull look on his face during the match. Someone is about to be sacked. No its not me! Its you Roy! And please leave with your under achieving new signings plus the other obsolete stars. Frank Rijkaard would rebuild LFC most definitely!

  19. hodgison you hey keep it real
    and liverpool players too !
gerrard and torres line should come back !

  20. I don’t know any ‘true’ fans that called for rafa’s head last season. Yes he used to frustate us with rotation and tactics but more often than not he got a result. Its only now you can see what he had to contend with when dealing with the Americans plus a ‘business’ minded board, perhaps the club was easier to sell with a more ‘likeable’ manager. I don’t actually any reds fans who were excited or even happy at the announcement of Roy’s arrival but I don’t except the Kop to be singing his name anytime soon. How many other clubs sang their managers name? If he keeps blaming the players and not taking any blame himself then he will very quickly loose the dressing room if he hasn’t already…
