The two Liverpool supporters were taken to hospital with stab wounds, their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The Foreign Office have also confirmed the report “We can confirm the hospitalisation of two British nationals in Naples, Italy on 20 October. We are providing consular assistance.”
There have also been reports that a group of Ultras have intimidated British journalists.
Early this week the pitch at San Paolo stadium was also vandalised.

Bring the supporters home,cancel the game and throw Napoli out of the competition.

Platini,wont recognize an Italian problem,they dont have one apparently or is he waiting for us to defend ourselves and then get us kicked out of Europe again.
Ultras? They are a joke, attacking small groups of people or women & children is usually their style. High time these cowards were booted out of Europe.

As i am from Napoli,the clean side of Napoli …I apologise for all happens.I am very shamed over those 15-20 people ruining the image of the all city.. I am always in the San paolo and the Ultras Napoli would’nt even dream of attacking normal people. Hope the 3 guys stabbed get better soon,our city is very tough but there are a lots of nice people that would have enjoyed a pint with the english….
