i can’t believe this but he shows us his abilities compeletely. we didn’t have perfect dmc star after xabi’s gone. maybe lucas can achieve that and maybe he become a first team player.

i’m not the biggest fan of lucas but i must point out that he was superb yesterday. for me he was outstanding and deserved the player of the match. i just hope he keeps showing us this talent to become a regular starter for the reds

He was immense yesterday but it wasn’t *just* yesterday. His performances have been steady for a while and those that have been caning him have just been doing so because they’re stuck in a negative rut.
I’m sure if he has a single bad day the haters will be back out in force. More’s the pity.

Not that I care what they think, but as usual, zero recognition from Sky.
Shame Hodgson believed the media about him enough to waste £5M on Poulsen, but hey, it’s good to see him get some recognition. The lad fully deserves it.
What does Lucas have to do to earn the first team??? I think he has earned it..nuff said

Was at this game… totally loved the way lucas had malouda under control (2:16) … but saying that Lucas had an awesome game…
He played well for him, but I still think we could do better. Just look at Aquilani’s form at Juve! Lucas disrupted a lot but he’s still not much of a passer.
Cheers to him though! But if Nando didn’t score those two goals we probably wouldn’t be singing the same tune.
I have his 21 shirt and know he would turn out great. He bossed the game and was selfless for the team. Shades of Sammy Lee and Whelan and Case but he still needs to imrpove going forward but there is time. Also he´s not dirty like Masch.
