I think Capdevila isn’t the type of player that fits the NESV profile.He is 32 and although he might be one of the best in the game this moment I think he will only be a temporary fix and that we should be looking at the bigger picture and buy young talent and no more Konchesky’s and Poulsen’s(even though Capdevila is a player of obvious better (k)qwality).Simon Davies fits in the same category IMHO and never played for a side that has asperations to win the league.Hazard seams good let’s hope..YNWA
What nonsense about Pacheco. If Dani hasn’t looked good enough, what have Shelvey and Spearing done to be so impressive? Not saying they don’t deserve minutes, but have they really been THAT impressive, and Dani so much less so? Doubt it. There is something personal going on here. I think Roy is showing a soft spot for our British youth.
Dani has been the cream of the crop of our youngsters for probably the last 2 seasons. He always looked lively in the games he featured in under Rafa. If this kid is sold it would be a travesty. Why not just offer up Suso and Sterling as well? Err, maybe just the Spanish one…
