  1. Roy’s saddened and angry. Wow! Just imagine how the millions of REDS must and actually have been feeling the whole season. Individual performances, team performances…. but what about management performances. The accountability. The players make up a part, yes an important part. Stiched and held together utilising different techniques to create a tough fabric that’s able to be resilient yet pliable to various shapes it has to cover. And the tailor or maker of this fabric is the manager. As he envisages what he has to create for each form in the shape of weekly games. he studies and puts the right materials together. So far we’ve been left naked to witstand the chilling prospect of achieving nothing. Higher mid table already deemed success. Big Sam brought Blackburn to a point behind us and he’s been… yes, left out in the cold. Time is essential and necessary for ideas to work out. But time is also of the essence and we have very little of it left to salvage the season. This is the manager’s last hurrah at being Top Dog of a Top Club. The Top Club is omnipresent. Sadly the Top Dog belongs in another show. It just feels dead inside. The frustration is like gone. The sadness. The pain. The embarrrasment. The shame. No one’s listening. But who’s suffering? Yes the fans for sure. But more importantly LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB. Not a single one of us is greater than the team. But look at her. Molested by our ex-owners. Made to look like a prostitute for money mongers. Making decisions that just makes the story sadder and sadder. For over 40 years of total RED commitment, I’ve never seen the club in such a sad state and of our own doing. Have REDS ever been as vocal towards the infrastructure of the club as it has the past few years. That’s not the Liverpool way but we had to. We could see what others could not. We type our frustrations hoping that it will be noted. But game after game we just are lost. It’s a blame game with no end. Let’s run Liverpool the Liverpool way. Listen to the fans. Listen to the 12th man. Get King Kenny in to run the team. Even we lose every game after that, we know we did it with dignity and played with pride as we all should with the Liverbird on our chest. We’ll be LIVERPOOL again. Yes we are still not walking alone. But we’re doing it in circles. We’re going nowhere. I love my REDS and I’m not even born there but half a world away. But if I can understand what being LIverpool is all about why can’t the management and players. We are bigger than Real, Barca, Milan and any other team. You know why? Because we Liverpool. We aren’t fans. We’re family. A RED FAMILY.

  2. What I can’t understand is why can’t we just get behind our manager…same time previous year we were in a similar state..not able to win away games, no consistent performances, et al..but we sticked with the gaffer…We were crying out loud for english manager, we got the best available of the lot(Roy won Manager of the Season,LMA)…now he has not even been in this club for half a season, we want him sacked!!…Yes we are Liverpool and thats exactly why we should be giving Roy this season at least to prove his worth. I supported Rafa alot, didn’t wanted him to be sacked, but now he is gone!! We have Roy now, get behind him, don’t judge him already. YNWA we say-it means You’ll Never Walk Alone- but we are letting the manager walk alone, whatever he does is not quite enough-we are saying, but he is doing what we ever wanted, he plays with 2 strikers, only 1 holding midfielder, it’s not because of him that we don’t have another Torres upfront or we have Lucas(who has been consistent). He is sticking with Konchesky-he has been putting in some good performances now, not up to LFC standards but still trying hardest!! He has dropped Poulsen. For those who are saying “why did he bought them in first place?”-its because he didn’t have money nor time. Just get behind the manager and the team, we are supporters, about time we act like one. We are not Chairman or Owners. Let them decide when the time is right to sack him and then who to bring in. Rant over. Cheers :)

  3. I would more than gladly get behind the gaffer as he shows his commitment to make LIverpool a team to be feared again. But honestly speaking I really believe that he is not up for it. He looks like he’s in the deep end and can barely stay afloat. Like I said. There’s this blame game but I’m not blaming. I’m stating. We can all stick through it and hope for the best. But we’re talking missing a CL spot and the financial loss that it will be. And he’s not making us better. The games we have won were against opponents who were worse than us. The game plan didn’t win us the points although I would so like to believe it was. I mean we couldn’t even defend against a team with single minded plan of pump and hope. We knew it was the way the magpies would play and we couldn’t defend against it. Yes Skertel had an off day but what was plan B? There was no plan B. Babel came in not to create a 3 way attack when we were on the ascendency but to substitute Ngog who was injured. I mean with all the experience and badges, i would expect a coach to change the shape of the team to counteract the opposition during the game. What it looks like is a team that feels an away draw is like a win, stays the same shape through the whole game and subs are used to replace the same exact player to keep the same shape. Is that good enough? You tell me YNWA 1892. He doesn’t even play the team like a Liverpool team. Why did the players back off from Carroll for the 3rd goal? That’s not Liverpool. He blames the players but we get to ask Roy. He must be a nice guy and all that but he does nothing for the team. It’s not he’s not a good manager, it’s just that he’s not a good enough to be Liverpool manager. That’s just my view. Maybe will all these frustrations I’m not able to lay it down in words but I think I roughly get my point across.

  4. The owner’s last night didn’t give me the impression that Hodgson was ready to be sacked, indeed reading between the line’s it really does look like Roy will be here for at least the season.

  5. Just heard that Blackburn’s looking for an English manager. Well if he does stay I just hope that the players will do what they’re paid for and do us all proud.

  6. Yes he has not been good but Liverpool, since Shankly days, have never sacked manager mid-season, so i don’t think thats going to happen this time around. So why judge him now??. Just get behind him at least till the end of the season. I know that if we don’t qualify for Champions League next season Torres and Reina may leave but honestly Torres’s body language has been pretty poor to say the least. He should play for LFC not for the manager i.e. if he thinks the manager is not good enough. Antoine I know he is not good enough but hey the owners have said they won’t sack him, so we should just get behind him now. Lastly, keep up the good work. YNWA :)
