I know the whole mantra of supporting our manager and that we are Liverpool but enough is enough Roy Hodgson is not the right man for Liverpool F.C. and he must go NOW.
First of all why should I support a manager that doesn’t support his own players or a manager that brought so much heartache to the many fans. He even went as far as attacking our most loyal
supporters for singing the name of “Dalglish”. These hard-working fans are paying good money to see the Reds play and expect more than the negative football being exhibited on the pitch. Football is not just about winning (or in Roy’s case playing for a draw) but it is about entertainment, there is a reason it is called the beautiful game. I am no footballing expert but even the village idiot could have figured out that tonight’s lineup didn’t work, playing the players out of position seems to be fashionable with Roy lately.
Some are arguing to give Roy more time, it takes time to rebuild. Rebuild!!!! Rebuild what? Roy inherited an awesome squad that lacked some depth and instead of going out and build on that he dismantled it.
He loaned out young Emiliano Insua & Alberto Aquilani and replaced them with Paul Konchesky & Christian Poulsen. To add insult to injury he even sold one of our brightest young prospects Lauri Dalla Valle to his former club.
I am not going to get into the whole rumours of Roy alienating players however Daniel Agger also publicly stated that he doesn’t like Roy’s style of play. Ever since that statement Daniel had been “injured” only to return to the bench tonight. Why didn’t he start Daniel Agger over Martin Skrtel baffles me, or why Paul Konchesky over Fabio Aurelio???!
Chris Mavinga has also publicly stated that he feels alienated by Roy who ‘prefers’ English players. Oh! what about Dani Pacheco? The hottest Spanish sensation now wants to leave L.F.C.
John W Henry and Tom Werner need to free us from this misery tomorrow as many fans are losing patience with them too.

You’re spot on about Insua and Aqualiani. Insua is far better than Konchesky, and he’s young and improving whereas Konchesky is old and deteriorating!
He never gave Aqualani a chance, which was a disgrace. He put in some decent performances towards the end of last season, and was shipped out.

1) Why in Gods name did RH play Mereiles who has played Centre midfield all season and all his career on the right wing??
2) Why did he play Dirk Kuyt who has played right wing all season and the majority of his Liverpool Career on the Left wing, whilst having FOUR adept left sided players available (Cole, Jovanovic, Babel and Maxi)
3) Why is Paul Konchesky playing for Liverpool ahead of Aurelio?
4) Why was there no cover for a right back on the bench if Johnson got injured when Martin Kelly is available?
I have reached an all time low supporting my beloved team. We are now becoming a joke. Torres looks disinterested and a shadow of the player he was two years ago. I wanted to support the guy but enough is a enough. Watching Liverpool is like watching a great old washed up boxer like Ali getting beat up by strong streetwise Larry Holmes but nobody want to throw in the towel because that is not the Ali thing to do. This is turning in to a comedy of errors now. Did anyone bear to see the highlights on Sky sports ? It lasted 3 mins every time the editor showed Hodgson he was touching his mouth there was even one moment where they put in a clip where they half caught a gimps of his now infamous face rub. I mention this because Hodgson is now being viewed as comic figure. Match by match all that good work that he achieved with Fulham in going down the pan. I really like the guy and I know it would be heart wrenching for him to leave the post but I think he knows that in his hearts of hearts he can not take this club forward to be a top 4 club and maybe not a top 7 too. I also wanted to comment on Andy Gray’s horrible analysis on the game tonight. It took him “15 mins” to realise that Stevie G and Raul switched positions in the first half. He mentioned that Raul M was a flop this season when most people would say that his game has vastly improved over the past weeks since he was moved to the middle of park . And he shitted on David Ngog for the whole time that he was on the pitch. Ok Ngog’s last 15 mins wasn’t great but I thought he played well in the 1st half. His hold up play is much better now and he wasn’t afraid to shoot (one of his shots that was blocked was heading goal bound) but Gray was on the guys back from the 1st min where as Torres pretty much got off scot free (no pun intended) Why do you think that Man City have not put a bid in for him this transfer window they know he is not worth the cash. He remind me of Owen and Rooney, playing from a early age and peaking in their mid 20s and then they are a shadow of their former selfs. Time to get rid of him along with Hodgson and start a fresh .

In the first place I am not sure, why Roy Hodgson was appointed as Liverpool’s Manager. Just because he had a good season with Fulham last term, is arguably not accepted. If Liverpool were to follow this trend, then they should not hesitate to appoint Mick Macarthy for winning at anfield after 26 years or Mr Coyle from Bolton, who is pushing themselves to European football next term.

Hodgson is a good guy and deserves some respect. He is trying his best for the club even if its not working out. @ Antoine: the funny thing is we have a perfectly good team who does not have the confidence to bring to play the tactics that are being forced on them. i don’t think the team believes in Roy’s tactics as well, as much as they don’t want to admit it. otherwise, we’d be strong contenders to the title by now. and you’re right. after last night, if Roy doesn’t resign, just goes to show how disrespectful he is not only to the club’s fans but to the club’s legacy, most importantly.
Half the squad arent up to it now either. Aquilani could hardly get a look in last year and was pretty ineffective when he did figure.
There are new problems and inherent problems here.
We need at least 4-5 quality players. The squad is not awesome by any stretch. Good, bad and mediocre sums are squad up.
Some of our players need to hang their heads in shame because they have short changed their cash strapped, hard working and loyal fans. Torres and Johnson are prime examples.
Insua looked like a very weak link too but konchesky is far, far worse.
Pacheco hardly got a look in under RB either but I’m as baffled as anyone as to why he is underused.

I am a fan from Japan, and I woke up at five (JPN standard time) in the morning to watch the Wolves match. And after the match I wished I had kept sleeping.
Roy simply needs to go. He says he is doing his best but if that’s the best he can offer, it simply means that he is not good enough for Liverpool. Playing players out of position, giving up on a match if we concede a late goal, too much stupid talking in public, being satisfied with a mid-table position, and worst, blaming the fans for the boos made towards the team’s poor performance. He is not the right man for us in terms of not only ability but also mentality.
Mr. Henry, do you remember the only promise you made when you bought the club? Yes, listen to the fans. And 96 percent of the fans want Roy out. It is obvious what you have to do NOW.
