Blessings in disguise.

Hello dear brothers and sisters,

Devastated. Heartbroken. Upset. Saddening. Angry. Hatred. Eff-up!

Those words describes my feelings currently. I am sure many others feels the same too. Well, enough of that. Yes, enough. I have read enough post, blogs, and topics on Torres’s saga. Well, it is more disheartening reading all of these. Sigh.

His body language never right since the world cup. I have talk and mentioned about this so many times. To ease my heart’s feeling, I simply thought that maybe he disliked Roy Hodgson’s tactics like we all did.

Kenny stepped up, things are moving at the right path, and he screwed us. Just suddenly. Without any alarm, without any reminder. ” I want out!”- he said.

Some of us never even believed the news even though it was on our official website. Some of us kept the faith. Including me. His name was in my prayers. I wore his customized El Nino printed shirt the whole day. (I have to salute Antoine’s faith at this level). Besides that, I even had my 2-years old niece wearing her FT9 shirt. But, I guess, he has made up his mind.

Just now, FT9 was quoted saying for Chelsea TV

I felt from last summer that I needed to do a step forward in my career and for my ambition as a footballer. I am joining a team that is at the top level. There is no another level after Chelsea. I am joining with big names like (John) Terry, (Frank) Lampard, (Didier) Drogba and (Nicolas) Anelka and I can be part of this great team. Also, I wanted to join because Chelsea always have shown a big respect for me. They really want me and it is important when you have the support of the people in the club, and the support of the fans who always showed respect to me when I came to Stamford Bridge and at Anfield.”

WHAT A BOLLOCKS ?! We and LFC didn’t respected him?! Since last summer, so you lied to us regarding your commitment?!

Anyhow,

Owen left us few years back, considered a flop at Real Madrid, came back to Premier league to NUFC and flopped again. He is now at Man United. The biggest rival of Liverpool maybe after or before Everton.

Anelka also left us few years back. He went here and there. Crossed continents, but he came back at Chelsea currently.

BUT BOTH OF THIS PLAYERS DIDN’T GO TO A RIVAL CLUB DIRECTLY.

Rooney and Tevez did submitted their transfer request. Their fans were devastated as us.

BUT BOTH OF THEM DIDN’T TELL THE WORLD THAT THEY WERE GOING TO A RIVAL CLUB.

So, does that means that Torres is the LFC’s worst traitor ever? I couldn’t answer.

Anyhow,

Just recently, ManUtd’s Ryan Giggs slammed Rooney on his acts when Rooney submitted his transfer request. And he was quoted to say this words.

I guess Ryan Giggs need to tell this to his current teammate, Michael Owen. And I hope this struck Torres’s heart out.

“It was before a Champions League game, the timing was stupid, but deep down I thought he would stay and it would be sorted out,” he told Inside United. The fans, and probably me to an extent and a lot of the players, what really got our backs up was as soon as City were mentioned. For me, as a United fan, as soon as you hear City being talked about, you think, well, that can’t happen. I was surprised, just like everyone else, but I didn’t feel let down. He had more than enough people in the dressing room who are closer to him talking to him, so I left it. I didn’t really get involved. You’ve got to have done it on the pitch, and have that affinity with the fans whereby they know that you have always given your all,” he added. Humbleness is very important – you have to remember you’re lucky to be playing for, or to have played for, such a great club.”

Ryan Giggs is a legend for ManUtd. I hate ManUtd so much, but I must say that I have to respect Ryan Giggs’s comments on loyalty.

AND FINALLY,

Torres was quoted to say to his beloved Chelsea TV :

“It is like destiny. It is not perfect for me but we will see what happens and I only have good words about Liverpool. They made me a top player and gave me the chance to play at the top level. I will never say anything bad about Liverpool. I have been very happy there, but now the history is different and I am playing for Chelsea. If I have the chance to play, I will do my best for Chelsea and hopefully I can score(against LFC).

What the hell? FT9 insists he will have no qualms scoring against old club Liverpool if called upon on Sunday. This one proves everything.  Really Torres. My good side says that I should sing my loudest ever Torres song so he could realized what type of mistake he has done. My bad side, says that i should just start to think our new player’s song and pray FT9 to break his leg and end up like Yossi. My ugly side, says that I should have hire a killer to kill him. End of story.
In conclusion, i believe it is a blessings in disguise for what has happened for the past hours at LFC. FT9 gone, and he should have gone earlier. He has no hearts for LFC anymore. We have young and awesome talent in our future. Welcome home dear Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. Please make Ft9 cry in shame.

P/S = Don’t blame anyone if your third child looks like John Terry.

Finally, few days back, a friend of mine, who also writes here, (AhmadN), who is studying at Egypt was on his way to first ever visit to Anfield. He was so excited but unfortunately, the current riots at Egypt has give his problems to live up his dreams. But currently, he couldn’t call home, text home, and even online. It has been 7days(+/-) like this. Besides him, I am sure there is at least few thousand LFC fans suffering there. Please pray for their safety and health.

YNWA.

  1. Something I have suspected since this debacle started is: How many fingers has Martin Broughton had in this little pie? And it has surprised me that nobody else has come to this conclusion or if they have they’ve not put these thoughts into print, so I’m throwing it into the ring for further debate, and if true is there a case for a wierd kind of tapping charge.

  2. Oh Fernando how easily you forget “The support of the fans who always showed respect to me when I came to Stamforde bridge and to Anfield ” Continually singing songs about you being a transvestite and other such vitriol > I realise english may not be your first language but surely you must have understood some of the filth that was directed at you by your new wonderfull fans > Respect Fernando is what you were given in all your time at anfield > Am I bitter you have left and bemused that like football supporters everywhere we are still gullible enough to believe the words of our idols mean anything You were a true football artist , a player of grace. Im sorry I want to wish you luck but it would be as true as your words were to us

  3. What a vile, nasty article this is.

The worst thing Torres did was the timing of his transfer request. He should have let it be known at the start of Jan or just stayed with us until summer.

Other than that…. why is he a traitor? He gave us 3 years of service, Hicks, Gillet & Purslow gave him 3 years of lies.

He left his beloved, childhood club Atletico to play for us. He did that because he wanted to win trophies. He now feels that he is more likely to achieve that at Chelsea. Good luck to him. He owes us nothing, we owe him nothing.

We have just done something similar to Newcastle. They have lost their star striker, their local talisman and fan favourite right at the end of the transfer window. How do they feel? Sick as a parrot probably. So get over it. Torres was a hired gun who decided to jump ship. It’s sad, but that’s football and indeed to a certain extent, that’s life.
