Another blog from me about Kenny

Well, I’m fortunate to work in customer service, at a college in the states. It pays the bills, and I get to meet a lot of very nice people during the day. I also for some strange reason get to meet a lot of people from the UK. I live in Buffalo New York as I have said many times. This isn’t the most international place you’ll ever be in. At the college I’m at, usually in the first two weeks of school I’ve met more than one coed from some random place in the UK. Most of the time it’s Wolverhampton for some strange reason. And as a side note, I really dig English women.

Well most of the time the conversation is always steered towards football. I usually where under my work shirt my Liverpool jersey. It’s not noticeable most of the time, but on an occasion you can see the badge. I always joke around with people on the clubs they support either US or wherever, that’s just me. Well most of the time I get Chelsea fans coming in because most football fans who are in their twenties are not used to Liverpool, and are kind of soft to be honest.

I had someone in the store yesterday who is a Chelsea fan, and his brother is a Liverpool fan. I usually when it comes to football lead off that I’m a Liverpool fan, and I blog about them, just to do it. We got into it how Chelsea is overrated, and need a new goalie, that Drogba is overrated, and Nando will hate Chelsea. But this isn’t about them it’s about us.

What this Chelsea fan said was:

“What Americans don’t realize is how big of a legend Kenny still is even among my generation (he’s 21) and his footballing mind is better than anyone in the game past or present. He could have taken ten more years off and still been this good. The one thing most smart fans other teams never wanted to see was him back in charge at Liverpool. He’ll get the job permanently, but here’s the thing, he’ll make the club great again.”
