We all have mixed feelings about what this season has brought us. We do have more to celebrate though. I’m sure I don’t need to list all the wonderful things we got. But here we go;
1. NESV – New (Fiscally Responsible) Owners
2. King Kenny is back (Choking up)
3. Considering our season we made it quite far in the Europa League
4. *Andy Carroll & Luis Suarez ughhh…Nuff said.
I want to quickly talk about something that also shows you what LFC can bring out of a player, Hope. Hope is the last thing you loose when you face uncertainty and that has been the story of LFC up to the arrival of King Kenny. One thing I’m proud of and many of you are as well, is that fact that we saw players NEVER give up hope. We had some bad games and the players took responsibility for the times and that just goes to show you what LFC will bring out in a player, accountability. I’m proud of every player that played (and didn’t) this season.
It also hurts and upsets me when “fans” literally curse to hell their own players. I can’t count the myriad times that I’ve heard “fans” on FB or Youtube or even on this site curse KUYT and other players. KUYT? really? He’s had bad games just like everyone and is not a player BARCELONA OR MILAN would want in their teams but WE HAVE HIM and were DAMN!!! lucky too as well. This guy to me has been the player that has led the way to our renaissance. Why? He is a machine and loves the city and the team!!! and oh yeah, he can play, nuff said. We can agree that our players have had games that were frighteningly bad. Let’s “Support” and build on constructive criticism not the opposite, that’s not what Mr. Shankly would of wanted.
Oh Yeah, I forgot about the whole reason why I posted this. haha Sorry guys. Well, Everybody has been talking about what type of playing style are we going to change to in order to get the best out of Carroll. That’s obviously up to King Kenny to decide but I just wanted to see who you guys would want to bring in the Summer to best deliver those great crosses for our new #9 to drill in the back of the net.

this may sound a bit daft but what about david bentley? with king kenny there 2 put an arm round him and give him the confidence he really needs, he could turn into a decent player for us, he would be pretty cheap too and is also british. if not him then take a chance on renato augusto

I would put the bulk of the money into a quality attacking left back – coentrao – and get adam to balance left central midfield. then let johnson and coentrao (or iziguirre if not enough money) supply the width.
Jarvis has impressed me everytine I’ve seen him play. Read an interesting satistic the other day that he has put more crosses in than any other player in the prem this season.
There are a plethora of foreign players I’d love to see out wide in the team as well but anyone that’s any good would surely cost. Jarvis is English and probably could be signed for a reasonable sum.
I think we need to buy two wingers. One top quality. I’d like to see them grab either Ashley Young or Keisuke Honda. Then some backup. There’s been the rumors of Slyvain Marveaux on a free. I also agree with someone like Jarvis. He’s English, will just be turning 25 in the summer and won’t blow the bank.
In addition to wingers I think adding a creative mid – Charlie Adam – who can pick out passes up field is a must. Still angry we couldn’t get him in the transfer window. We could have used the cover in midfield with the injuries.

Young, Downing, Kranjar are good options from Premier League to play on the left side. Jarvis, Larsson again from Premier League to play on right side.
For Left backs we could try to swoop one from any of the LB’s from Arsenal, NewCastle or Everton.

depends what fsg want to bankroll? They werent shy allocating the money for carroll! If we are talking investing in quality young players and they find the funds then we have to be ambitious and go for hazard and sanchez as they are two of the hottest attacking talents in europe right now. Thats prob £50m easy. However, if we can sell aquilani, jovanovic, ngog, poulsen, kyrgiakos, insua, maxi, skrtel, degen, el zhar- we wouldnt need much more to bid for those two players. Saves a lot on wage bill too. Wilson and kelly for centre half, which compensates soto and skrtel. Buy kyle walker off spurs for right back with johnson- has played really well this season on loan. Taiwo for left back on a free plus one other. Moussa sissoko of toulose or m ‘vila of rennes. Charlie adam. Then some back up to add strength in depth. If marveaux is worth a punt on a free. Also keep bringing on shelvey next season. Thats an awesome team. Oh. Back up strikers. Connor whickham.

1 -Jarvis tore manure apart at Wolves, he has been outstanding against the top teams this season including ourselves, playing alongside better players and under the guidance of KK he can only get better. So we could have a player with an excellent proven record in the PL with a reasonable price tag. Lure him now before the price shoots through the roof!!
2 – Alexis Sanchez; outstanding pace and dribbling skills similar to Messi, his crossing is not bad either. A big name player that would wet the appetite lining alongside Suarez, Andy & S G. He is very much a target for Manure. Would hate to think we would have to play against him for many years to come rather like Giggs.
c Adam ; Another must addition, having the likes oh him & SG playing behind Suarez, Andy & Sanchez would destroy mosat defences rather like Barcelona, teams won’t know who to mark and therefore there will be space fr ALL of them to operate freely.

Although I agree we definitley need some pacy wingers in the squad, even though I had hoped to see Johnson playing their instead of Kuyt. I think when you have 2 wingers a team becomes very easy to stop, the game plan from the opposition then becomes stop the delivery from the flanks. We need diversity, we need ball playing midfielders, we need centre backs who can bring the ball forward, we need a goal poacher, we need a workhorse, we need leaders etc. The idea that we sign 2 quality wingers and that will complete the team is a nonsense and far too predictable. WE need plan B, C and D not just 2 wingers, cross for Carrol to head down and for Suarez to score.

OMG !!!! … Do you really think playing with wingers means we are going to let these guys just run down the wing and cross the ball every single time ?? – If you do, you have no idea how to play football !!! We just need wingers, because they are creative, have the skills to easily go past a defender (like Suarez does) and create space for others. We also need them for our counter attacking play. Most of our players aren’t able to do those things, except Gerrard, Johnson and Suarez. That’s the reason why we need wingers !!!
King Kenny will get it sorted. Long live the king !!!

We all would want to see a few of them playing for us … Hazard,Sanchez,Robben,Coentrao,M’vila,Cahill,Lukkaku,Benzema,Aguero, but it won’t happen.

We need to be realistic !!! We have to be in the champions league if we want to have a chance to get them. So, our minimal target should be finishing in the top four next season. After that, we will be able to lure the best of the best to Liverpool. Don’t forget, that every single year new world class talents will be available … no need to panic. Just make sure we finish in the top four at least !!!
Hazard won’t come to the reds. Robben is too old. K Honda and Arda Turan have stated before their desire to play for us and I’d welcome both. Marveaux is looking likely to join us, although I’m not sure how I feel about him. Adam wants to come and that is exciting, Jarvis looks like a safe prospect. I’m just excited to see how everything unfolds, bring the transfer window!
If it is merely to send “crosses”, then any senior member of The Christian Order would do just fine. However, it isn’t that straight forward, is it? What Liverpool FC needs is not a God-fearing man, but a MAN even God fear to deliver the crosses!

WOOOOOWWWWW a lot of wishful thinkers out there. I think the idea of hearing your thoughts was in the intention of hearing possible signings, not your wish list. WHO SHOULD WE GET? Please please please i am getting sick of hearing names like Hazard, Sanshez, ,Coentrao etc. Even though we may have money now does not mean these players will play for us. You can take my word all the way from Australia where we know nothing about football of course, sorry i meant soccer lol, these three for starters will not be joining Liverpool.
