Its not a great signing yet is it! when you go for younger, or youth unproven players it even more of a gamble.
Evey transfer is a gamble to a degree, but for me we have got rid of ngog without being hit with a loss on him.
When liverpool get rid of players we nearly take a hit, this we have not done, so good outcome to shift ngog from the wage bill and in turn bring down the price for our target that is coming our way, not bad in terms of deal making.
But in my view, we need better then henderson, its not me being negative, its just that facts, we need better then this guy for us to be even thinking about top 4 top 3 next year.
For me if raul is sold thsi year then it just shows you why we dont go forward, i cant think why we should seel raul, theres things being said about raul to go, why ? raul is a top class proven international player who has had a very good 1st year at the club, why would we sell one of our better footballers? here we go again.
So is this deal good for the squad yes! is he a starter for the first team while pushing raul out the door because we cant have both on the books, NO WAY.
next in please has to be aguero or mata for me, we need much much better quality here and we all know it.
I actually really like the move of loaning Wilson to Rangers for a season. It would be good for him to get experience, plus he’d be playing some Champions League matches and would surely get a lot of playing time given the all-but-assured departure of Bougherra, not to mention that he knows a lot of people over at Rangers and there would be no problem of him having to adapt to a new place.
If the loan deal is true, it makes a lot of sense and I hope it happens for him.
