  1. I know we all know that the F.A doesn’t have the word ‘consistency’ in it’s vocabulary, but there’s a couple of examples that have come up lately.

Firstly, at the Wolves-Arsenal game yesterday, was the reaction of the Wolves players to Miljias’ red card any different to the reaction of LFC’s players against Fulham? Roger Johnson was actually pushing the ref, while three/four other players surrounded the referee. To me, there was no difference.

The second is the Suarez ‘gesture’ to the Fulham fans. Suarez flashed the middle finger to fans, and was caught on camera. In the first game of the season, when Suarez scored, Raul Meireles gave the finger (jokingly) to Lucas, and was caught on live television. The only difference between these two is that Meireles’ was aimed at a player, whereas Suarez’ was aimed at a fan, or fans. As said before by some, the FA are running the football pitch like a schoolyard. Fans should be protected by extortionate ticket prices, not a middle finger, which many of them can deal with, and if not, they need to grow up.
