Can’t believe I haven’t got myself a ticket for Wembley. Absolutely gutted. Deffo something wrong with the allocations once again. Us proper fans been stitched up as usual. Had an argument with my mate the other day, who was saying that as long as I had been to one League Cup match this season, I would have got a ticket. What’s that got to do with it? All the games were on telly, weren’t they? I watched every single one of them. It’s a joke.
Suppose I’ll have to watch the final on the telly as well. It just doesn’t seem fair at all.

The teams have been announced. As expected Charlie, Jordan and bl**dy Downing all start. Ah well, it’s only Cardiff, we will batter them whatever team we put out. It said in the new Sun on Sunday that Liverpool are hot favourites. (My mate had a right go at me when he saw me buying the Sun in the paper shop, but crikey, it’s only 50p and, y’know, all that Hillsborough stuff was AGES ago)
4pm : Here we go.
4:20: Oh no, Cardiff have scored. What are we doing. Where was the midfield? Adam should have blocked that off. If we get beat by these that will be the biggest joke ever!
4:45 : Half time. Cardiff 1-0 Liverpool Kenny Dalglish needs to sort this out. Downing has done nothing as usual, neither has Henderson. What a waste of money. Talking of which… Andy Carroll???
5:20 : GET IN!!!!! Big Martin Skrtel smacks in the equaliser. We will walk this now. “All round the fields ….”
5:50 : Kenny Miller missed a sitter there. Should have been all over for us. Our defence is awful. Carragher really is finished. If we had been playing a proper team we would be getting beat by now. There’s the full time whistle. Extra time. Against Cardiff. Pathetic.
6:15 : Dirky!!!!!!! 2-1 to us. The cup is ours.
6:30 : What are we DOING???? Sat too deep and guess what, they’ve only gone and equalised. Penalties again. Bet we lose.

Steven Gerrard is not playing against Arsenal today, after getting injured playing for England. Ah, doesn’t matter really. We will beat Arsenal anyway. After last week I reckon we can beat everyone, and will go the rest of the season unbeaten. Now that Henderson and Downing are playing great, and with Kenny’s management we don’t fear anyone.

13:30 : Half time 1-1. No justice. We should be three up. Stupid Dirk missed another pen, we hit the post twice (again) and got a jammy own goal. Then we go and ruin it by standing and watching as Van Persie heads it in for the equaliser.
14:20 : Useless. Same old story. Miss a load of sitters and then they score at the end. Dalglish is clueless. Where were the subs? What’s the point of bringing Bellamy on in the 88th minute. Henderson, Adam and Downing – what a colossal waste of money. We are cr@p. Cr@p. Cr@p.
Carragher is finished. Pepe Reina just stood and watched both goals. Terrible. We’ll be lucky to finish in the top half at this rate. Everton will beat us. Ive had it with this lot. I might even cancel my Sky, just to teach them a lesson. Gonna try and ring LFCTV to give them a piece of my mind.

The comment about the Sun stuff being ages ago just really was needed to be honest. Just don’t buy it.
The pan has got lots of truths in it. We need such self introspection and give criticism where it’s needed. Otherwise we will rot from within without knowing it ourselves.
We don’t need anyone to remind us that we a still pathetically at position 7 on the log and judging by Sat’s performance, it will not be a surprise if we end the season at that position, if not worse. The thing is we have not been able to take advantage when the teams above us lose games. We also lose ours. Then how on earth are we going to progress??
