Steve Clarke’s West Bromich Albion side completed a Premier League double over Liverpool with a 0-2 win at Anfield. Despite a slow start Brendan Rodgers’ men dominated the game in chances and possession but found ‘keeper Ben Foster in outstanding form. The former United stopper pulled off a string of excellent saves which inlcuded keeping out a Steven Gerrard penalty, a performance that formed the basis of West Brom’s late smash and grab from McAuley and Lukaku. BR got it wrong Sturridge injured , so replace him with a midfield player when Borini sits on bench , can’t fault Shelvey he,s playing out of position , we set up like it was an away game against europe’s finest not a home game against a team who have’nt won in god knows how long , and to say we will have to take it steady with Coutinho and then send him on when we are chasing the game , bad management . Should’ve won the game , can’t keep putting this kind of result down to bad luck , you make your own luck , Come on BR you’ve got to make it happen .

  2. you just made a comment on your show after the game “we should be beating teams like West Brom” Your living in the past you were brilliant in the 80’s but that was then you’ve lost your last 3 league games to WBA conceding 8 and scoring 0, just about says it all.
