Liverpool have missed out on the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk star Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has agreed to sign for Champions League finalist Borussia Dortmund.
It’s very clear and hurtful that he chose Dortmund ahead of Liverpool because of Champions League football, which Liverpool can’t offer him, not even Europa.
Here are my reasons why we don’t need to worry much about missing out.
(1) Liverpool main problem is not scoring goals, but defending.
(2) Liverpool still have enough attacking midfielders that guarantees goals/assists.
(3) I don’t think Mkhitaryan worth €30m when player like Eriksen is worth £15m.
I believed there’re many good alternatives that are much cheaper, which Reds must feel excited if managed sign.
Those are the reasons we Liverpool fans don’t need to panic about missing out on Mkhitaryan.
