by Mobeen KamranWith a thrilling start to the season fans are thinking about Liverpool actually getting into the Champions League after four years, but we must not get ahead of ourselves because it will not be easy as best demonstrated by Tottenham who have had and still have a stronger than both Liverpool and Arsenal have not managed to get themselves into the top four since the 2010/2011 season.
With the 3 teams that are said to have got to top 4 before the season even begins are all stuck at 7 points and 2 of them are outside of the top 4 as well as them having new managers it seems like an opportunity that cannot be missed by teams like the already mentioned Arsenal,Tottenham and Liverpool.
Both the Manchester teams playing each other this weekend and with Chelsea not in the best of forms Liverpool have a fairly easy stretch of games ahead which any top 4 team should expect to win.
The longer that Liverpool can stretch out their unbeaten run the better as LFC play Manchester City and Chelsea within the stretch of a few days.
Tottenham who have spent lots on money on new players this summer let Gareth Bale go and too many new signings do not always workout. While Arsenal have only made one change to their first 11 which is the major signing of Mesut Ozil a signing that won’t win them the title but will be a key factor in Arsenals top 4 challenge. But the main problem for both the teams is the defense as they have failed to properly address it whereas Liverpool have and that is a point in their favor.
Despite the defense the overall Liverpool squad has improved significantly with 8 total signings (including loans).
But it is too early to judge if Liverpool are in the top 3 by the boxing day matches and manage to sign a proven left sided winger as well as a defensive midfielder and mend the rising issues of LFC not attacking in the second half top 4 will be more than a possibility.
You can get some good odd by betting on Liverpool finishing in the top four, here is a list of sports betting systems.
