The last throw of the dice

In little less than an hour the final games of the 2013/14 Barclays Premiership season will kick off. Liverpool need a convincing win over an unconvincing Newcastle and Manchester City need to fall prey to  Sam Allardyce’s wily West Ham. Should that come about all LFC fans will be singing in their beer tonight!

I remain hopeful because that’s all I have left. It’s all we have left as Liverpool fans. One final push, Let’s keep the belief .

Jordan Henderson returns from suspension and I have to say he’s been sorely, sorely missed. His energy and courage has been a god send this last couple of seasons and whatever happens today, he, the team and us fans can be immensely proud. The team can still secure the runner-up berth and that in itself would be a fantastic achievement. The team can play without fear or inhibition. There’s no pressure on the Reds today. Just do as best they can and if that’s half as good as we’ve seen this season, then they’ll be OK.

So, I’m keeping this brief. Hopefully the match report will be about the unlikely champions. YNWA
