Terrible performance tonight. Queue the negativity.
Mignolet – Made a couple of really good saves tonight however his distribution is woeful it really is , he and it needs to improve , as of right now , not good enough.
Manquillo – average tonight , still better then Johnson I feel , tonight like most of the team sloppy and shaky , still young and lots of room to improve
Lovren – Before he signed he was always described as a leader , a centre back to solve our lack of leadership in defense , I’ve yet to see it , can make good last ditch tackles but seriously must do better to justify his price tag
Skrtel – Average performance tonight , should have done better to get the corner out rather than off him which lead to the goal , needs better performances.
Enrique – Wasnt bad tonight , nothing to write home about , physically strong yet again , I wanted more going forward tho
Gerrard – Performance reasons only , past it , deliveries were poor tonight , hasnt played well all season , passing was mediocre at best , I think this is it for Stevie , has shown he cant keep up with the leg work of shielding the Defense , wouldnt be a bad sub.
Henderson : Once again tireless performance , still an off day , put the running in just needs a bit of luck , shown why hes the vice captain.
Coutinho – Anonymous for the most part , wanted to see him take more people on and commit more defenders maybe look for a killer pass , wasnt on tonight.
Sterling – A hard one , got into good positions , done a lot of diving tonight , touch was poor , wasnt as vibrant as we have all come to expect , wanna see more desire and hunger.
Balotelli – Was starting to get wound up , Was fouled alot , few bright moments i.e free kick and some dribbles , however too much standing around , workrate was poor in the second hand , too much moaning too the ref and rolling around for fouls , Needs to be in the box more!
Markovic – Has obvious blistering pace , doesnt use it , no end product , takes too much from the ball , i personally think hes useless.
