Will come back into the team. We think Lucas will be the man to miss out, or rather, earn a rest. Gerrard will revert to the holding role he made his own last season, and play alongside Henderson.
RWB) Javier Manquillo
If Henderson does indeed continue centrally, Manquillo will have little competition for his spot in the team, with Glen Johnson and Jon Flanagan both still out.
LWB) Alberto Moreno
Impressed against Swansea, getting forward well and netting the opening goal. Deserves an extended run in the team after being frustrated in recent weeks.
CM) Jordan Henderson
Back to somewhere near his best on Monday, but needs to maintain that sort of form if he is to keep his role as the pivot in Liverpool’s four-man midfield.
