Martin Odegaard has posted a picture of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard on his Twitter account, accompanied by the simple caption: ‘Legend’.

The Norwegian is a Liverpool fan, and has recently enjoyed a trial at Anfield, along with a number of other major Premier League and European clubs, as he considers his next career move.
Odegaard became the youngest player to win an international cap in August last year, playing in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates at the age of 15 years and 253 days. A month later, he made his European Championship debut in a qualifier.
