The match, which will take place on March 29, 2015, will also feature several other of Gerrard’s former teammates, including Luis Suarez, Javier Mascherano, Pepe Reina and Xabi Alonso.
Gerrard will end his near three-decade association with us at the end of the season when his contract expires, with the 34-year-old set to join MLS giants LA Galaxy on an 18-month deal.
Torres left Liverpool for Chelsea in January 2011, but struggled to adapt to life at Stamford Bridge, eventually leaving for AC Milan at the start of this season. Less than six months later he was on the move again, and is now back with boyhood club Atletico Madrid.
