4) Lucas Leiva (2007-Present)
The Brazilian has been a fine servant for Liverpool over the years, making 268 appearances thus far. Lucas hasn’t scored for Liverpool in the last four years, but offers a lot more to the team with his combative style in midfield, which has long gone under-appreciated. The 28-year-old has been an integral part of our revival again this season, playing the holding role in our new-look 3-4-3 formation and doing a great job of protecting the back three.
