The Brazilian midfielder, who has been in sensational form so far this season, also finished in second place, with his strike in the FA Cup replay win over Bolton Wanderers receiving a six per cent share.
Raheem Sterling’s goal against Bolton came third, while Mario Balotelli’s crucial winner against Tottenham Hotspur was fourth. Lazar Markovic finished in fifth place for his goal, which also came against Spurs.
The race for the March goal of the month is already hotting up, with Coutinho having scored another brilliant individual goal, this time against Manchester City, while Jordan Henderson has also netted a pair of superb strikes – one against City, and a second against Burnley.
