Our remarkable unbeaten run just keeps on going…

Liverpool’s win at the Swansea not only reinforced our incredible form since the turn of the year but also saw us break an incredible record.

With Jordan Henderson’s effort being the only goal of the game, it meant the team managed to navigate their sixth straight away game without conceding, for the first time sine 1972 under then manager Bill Shankly.

Last night, this was mainly due to the standout saves of Simon Mignolet but it has been a collective effort over our past six trips away from Anfield that has seen us keep so many consecutive clean sheets.

The shutout at the Liberty follows a similar resoluteness at the back seen away at Southampton, Everton, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Burnley.

However, if we are to supersede this impressive record it means when we visit Arsenal after the international break, the other form team in the Premier League and the next visit on our travels, we’ll have to keep their impressive forward line at bay.

It’ll certainly add some spice to the potentially pivotal table-topping clash.
