Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has posted a cryptic message on social media website Instagram, in which he appears to criticise the Italian national team for leaving him out of their latest squad.

The 24-year-old was forced to watch from home as Antonio Conte’s side came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw in Bulgaria on Saturday, with Eder scoring the equaliser six minutes from time.
He’ll also miss out on his side’s friendly game with England on Tuesday, despite netting against the Three Lions at last summer’s World Cup, where the Azzuri – like England – crashed out in the group stage.
The controversial forward has struggled for form so far this season, and has netted just four times in all competitions – with only one of those goals coming in the Premier League, against Tottenham in February.
However, his record for his country – 13 goals in 33 games – is more than respectable, and Balotelli was clearly frustrated to have been left out…
