Team news for Liverpool against Arsenal…
The teams are in ahead of this afternoon’s game at Emirates Stadium. Liverpool face Arsenal in the Premier League, knowing that only a win will do as we continue our pursuit of a top-four place.
Raheem Sterling starts up front as Daniel Sturridge is only deemed fit enough for the bench. Lazar Markovic replaces the injured Adam Lallana, who misses out all together, while Lucas Leiva returns in midfield.
Kolo Toure edges out Dejan Lovren for the third centre back role, replacing the suspended Martin Skrtel, while Fabio Borini gets the nod over Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli on the bench.
Cameron Brannagan is also among the substitutes after impressing at the Anfield Charity match last week.
Arsenal have left England duo Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck on the bench in an otherwise predictable XI. Aaron Ramsey starts in midfield, with Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil playing behind Olivier Giroud.
