Liverpool and Arsenal fans have both been reacting to today’s team news, with Raheem Sterling the focus of much of the ongoing debate.

Liverpool transfer news
The under-pressure 20-year-old will look to put a week of negative press reports behind him with an impressive display in today’s game, with manager Brendan Rodgers making a big statement in backing him from the start.
Sterling’s inclusion means an end to his time in the right wing-back role, with Jordan Henderson seemingly set to move out there to accommodate Lucas Leiva’s return.
Daniel Sturridge is only fit enough to make the bench following his return from a hip injury, while there’s no room in the match-day squad for either Mario Balotelli or Rickie Lambert.
Arsenal fans have reacted with a wave of confidence, but they would do well to remember that it’s the Reds – not the Gunners – who top the Premier League form table since the turn of the year.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the teams:
Wow, that Liverpool defence and with no Sturridge

Liverpool giving in to Sterling’s first demand which is to stop the wing back experiment. He’s got them by the balls let’s be honest.
