Ranking Liverpool players to make PFA Team of the Year in the Premier League era
Liverpool need to snap up this Real Madrid star before he goes elsewhere

The Brazilian has been in sensational form for much of the campaign, especially since the turn of the year, and has therefore been recognised as our sole representative in the eleven voted for by their fellow professionals.

Since February, the 22-year-old has arguably looked our best player with a string of exciting, and dynamic performances. Against Newcastle earlier in the month, he put in an inspired display that helped us to a comfortable victory.

He has scored four goals in his last eleven games in all competitions, including the winning goals against Manchester City in the Premier League and Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup. He also opened the scoring in the Wembley semi-final last week, and bagged a wonderful goal in the win against Southampton earlier in the year.

His skipper has posted a photo on his Instagram involving the pair, along with Kolo Toure, at the PFA Awards, and paid tribute to the maestro’s form.
