Raheem Sterling has struggled to endear himself to our fans lately. The 20-year-old’s antics in recent weeks have severely damaged his relationship with the club that gave him his opportunity. What’s more, his latest action is unlikely to help as the winger has kitted out his mansion so almost never has to leave!
According to the Daily Mirror, Sterling has had both a hair salon and a five-a-side pitch built to go along with a basketball court, indoor swimming pool, and gym already in his Southport home.
Here are some of the pictures of his home, which he posted to his Instagram:
He revealed that the reason behind his decision to put all the different things in his house is because he wants some peace, quiet and privacy.
“If I go out I’m always asked for selfies, so I’ve spent money making my house a fun place,” he said.
Sterling has received plenty of criticism for the perceived reasons behind his rejection of a new contract at our club. The former QPR youngster was forced to deny that money was the motivation for knocking back the deal on the table. However, he also revealed that it gives him joy earning the money he does.
“The best part of earning so much is spending it on my family. I bought my mum a beautiful house in Jamaica last year, and it was lovely to see her so excited,” he added.
