BBC Sport declared in the early hours of the morning that Floyd Mayweather emerged victorious from the most lucrative fight in history, beating Manny Pacquiao via a wide unanimous decision in Las Vegas.

It was a result that left more than a few people disappointed, including Liverpool defender Jose Enrique, who was among those to drag himself out of bed in the pitch black to huddle in front of his television set.

And in an amusing comparison, Enrique declared: “Disappointing fight… Very defensive @FloydMayweather… But at the end what you remember is the winner… If no look at Jose Mourinho.”

Chelsea manager Mourinho has become know for his ‘park the bus’ tactics since returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2013. It’s rarely pretty when it comes to his side but they inevitably get the job done.

Indeed, the Blues can clinch the Premier League title with victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Brendan Rodgers is no doubt hoping that they succeed so that they’re left with little to play for when we visit Stamford Bridge next week.
